When 86 year old Padmakshy Amma reported in a critical state with extensive bleeding within the brain following repture of an abnormal blood vessel ( Aneurysm) no one expected that she would survive. Since the only treatment option was very major surgery with a very high risk ( due to age, cardiac problem and respiratory problem ) the patients relatives took the very bold decision. The surgery took 8 hours and was successfully done. She gradually made a steady recovery and after 1 month she has fully recovered . Her post surgery scan showed that the surgery was successful.
